Highlight of our trip to Fiji

Highlight of my trip to Fiji. Nice short boat ride, grand cabana and butler were excellent, cocktails , beer and food top notch. At the end of the day they had a small cake for me and sung happy birthday which was unforgettable. If you have a special occasion and are in Fiji. This is the way to go.

An absolute must do. Wish we had more time to visit again! The price is definitely worth it. Beautiful food, amazing snorkelling, great kayaking/paddle boarding.

Perfect weather, great venue for a day break from hustle and bustle

We had perfect weather which is a big factor with this type of activity. Water clarity was not great and coral has been badly damaged. We noticed a lot of people walking on the coral and notice not to do this should be given on arrival. Staff were great and all aspects were run efficiently. Food was delicious and served with little wait time. A downside on this occasion was a large group of young men who were extremely loud and carried a speaker around with them with some very inappropriate music. Their language was also offensive and they got even louder on the return journey.

Relaxation, picturesque, super instagram worthy (hahaha) Staff are beautiful, food was delicious (highly recommend the sliders) and cocktails were WAY too easy to drink! It was quite busy when we went but it didn’t take away from the relaxation at all (I even fell asleep on the pool bed at one point lol) Overall we loved it!!

What a beautiful spot!

My fiance booked us a private beach cabana for the day and we loved every moment of it. The cabanas are set away from the main club, so they are much quieter, and with spectacular views. The island provided lots of activities and areas to explore. Our day assistant, Pau, was incredibly friendly and helpful during our stay. 10 out of 10 would go again,

Such a beautiful place! Staff are super attentive and facility is great. Snorkelling was a highlight and great food and drinks and much more reasonably priced than our resort actually (despite other reviews we read!) Just stunning! Definitely grab a pool bed for best views over pool and seas

Sensational day out!

After many trips to Fiji and accessing some great experiences- this was amazing! The trip to Malamala was short and we got to enjoy our day. We chose the half day which was ideal to fit in snorkelling, relax on the many hammocks, swim in the water and pool. The food was sensational - recommend the tacos and the unique Kokoda. Tye sunset as we left was an extra surprise. Beautiful staff who looked after everyone so well - thank you!

Totally cool experience. I had great time there. It will not be bad if the lock operator expands the list of the pick up hotels though. I had to walk in a strange area in dark for 29 minutes.

Business should have cancelled for weather
Paul_R
, Apr 2022
Malayala Beach Club should have cancelled or rescheduled due to inclement weather. A passing storm is understandable and we’ve had a lot of fun during other activities while it’s rained during the trip. However, this was a prolonged 4+ hour event. 60 or so people on the island and no one could do any activities other than sit under shelter and order food and drinks. Waves were strong enough that the main vessel couldn’t dock at the island for return and passengers had to be shuttled from a smaller skiff out to the South Sea Cruise ferry. A lovely place during a sunny or relatively dry day, I’m sure, and the staff were welcoming, but they should have not allowed us to come in the first place.

Amazing island

I have booked a half day ticket as I have a 10 hours layover in Fiji. The island and its surrounding look amazing with the clear waters and sunny weather. Try the canoeing and snorkeling that is included in the day pass. Good place to spend a full day at.

Fabulous day

We visited Fiji in December unfortunately whilst cyclone sarai hit.. We only had 8 days on the island three of which were spent in doors. I am so glad we had booked malamala for our new years day it was the best decision. The island is pristine, beautiful view of the other manamuca islands and there was plenty to do from paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkeling, volley ball as well as just taking leisurey walks around the island which you can do in around 15 minutes. The food and drink is a little on the pricey side but we didn't really mind paying the extra after all it was new year's day and the views and activities were totally worth it!

Beautiful island, the jetty is just good for taking photos and jump in swiming.the wave is very smooth that rowing kayak is good fun, the no edge swimming pool is fantastic, all the staffs are very friendly and helpful. The only challenge is the foods and drinks are very pricy.

A MUST SEE!

Malamala was worth every penny. The boat ride over was short. The jetty and view of island from the boat was spectacular. The island itself was breathtaking. Lots of fun activities and friendly staff. We walked the island, had drinks, went kayaking, jumped off the jetty, and lounged in the infinity pool. I highly recommend Malamalama!
