  • The tour reservations have strict timing. To join the tour, you are required to be at the meeting point for check-in at least 15 minutes prior to your tour departure time.
  • If you arrive late for the meeting time, it will not be possible to join the group or reschedule, unless you pay for the activity again. As per "No Show" rules you will not be entitled to a refund.
  • Knees & Shoulders MUST be covered for both men & women to enter the Sistine Chapel!
  • Please note that on the day of your visit certain areas of the monument/attraction can be closed due to either religious events and national holidays.
  • Stroller accessible
  • Near public transportation
  • Not recommended for travelers with back problems
  • No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
  • Please be advised capacity regulations and security may delay the tour departure This could also influence the smooth running of the tour especially on national holidays and events.
  • Cancellations, changes or issues due to weather, security and events held by the monument are beyond our control and are directly decided by their administration team. These issues will be reviewed by us and dealt with on an individual basis but are the responsibility of the monument.
  • All visitors must pass through the monument/attraction security check please allow at least 20 minutes to clear security.
  • The exact timings and reservations can vary, dependant on the monument/attraction’s administration offices availabilities and decisions on the booking day and can be subject to last minute changes. Departure time can differ up to 20 minutes from your selected time.
  • Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair.
  • Please be aware that large bags/backpacks/suitcases are not permitted in the monument/ attraction. Only very small bags are allowed. Please do not bring these items with you on the day of your tour as there are no cloakrooms at the monument.
  • Students booking a reduced ticket must have a photo ID, you must bring a photo ID to be allowed into the monument.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 30 travelers

Great narration from Deborah, our guide. Really informative and added real context to the guided tour. Sistene Chapel was stunning and worth the trip alone. The museum’s were jam packed with so many tours, which does affect the experience, but you defo need a guide to point out key points of interest … really recommended though!

The tour wouldn’t help out my young adult daughter who was lost and couldn’t find the locale .. ended up a few minutes late. They wouldn’t put her on the next tour or let her catch up or even give her a discount to rebook.. 130 for nothing. Not a nice policy .

I visited the Vatican many years ago and remembered there were super long lines, people everywhere. This time I came with my family and decided to try doing a tour and It made a huge difference. Our tour guide Christina gave so much interesting information before entering the Sistine chapel and in other areas so it made such a difference to know what we were looking at and understanding the story behind paintings sculptures etc. Christina was excellent! We did the English speaking tour and I highly recommend her.

First, our Tour Guide was excellent in light of the conditions she had to work in. There were so many different things about this tour that was simply bad. 1. The meeting place was off a side street and there was very little signage to assist us in locating the starting point. 2. During the museum tour, we moved so rapidly through the exhibits that we really took nothing away from the experience. 3. Although beyond the tour operator's control, there were literally thousands of people in the museum. To the point, it was impossible to take in really any of the culture and beauty within the museum itself. 4. While the Sistine Chapel is amazing, there were at least 1000 people milling around inside looking up and at the paintings. Again, with so many people it was really difficult to appreciate all of the beauty. The tour operator did the best they could do in light of the circumstances. It certainly appeared that the other tour operators were struggling under the same conditions. The Vatican Museum should take a lesson from the management of the Colosseum in people management. Thank you!

The tour felt rushed when inside the Vatican museum. The guide (so think her name is Roberta) rushed everything. She walked too fast and made the group walk fast as well so we couldn’t enjoy the artwork of the museum. She didn’t wait for us to to take photos. The Sistine chapel was also rushed and too short. I’m very upset with the way the tour went and wished the guide gave us more time. The guide also didn’t speak clearly so it was hard to understand her accent on the head phone. I wouldn’t recommend Maya tours.

This tour was great!!! Christina was so knowledgeable and really engaging, she paid a little extra attention to the kids which was really considerate of her. I’ve been to the Vatican before and have never learned so much. The best part was that I was begging my family to wait in the very long, very sunny line to get into the basilica, but thank goodness we didn’t because the tour gave us direct access to skip the line! Definitely recommend!!
