Awesome experience, would highly recommend tour. Like how we were able to look at the exhibit at our own pace.

    Terrible inflexible service

A train strike forced us to miss the starting time for this tour. I emailed the Tour operator before the tour was scheduled to begin asking to reschedule. I received a reply the next day telling me that no refunds would be given. I responded that I didn't want a refund, just to reschedule. I received another reply the next day saying no rescheduling was possible, "that's why we asked you if you wanted a refund." So I responded again saying, "yes, I'd like a refund." I received no response or refund after that.

The Catacombes themselves were amazing, but due the terrible service this operator provides, the downloaded! tickets appeared blank on my phone. I contacted the operator and I am still waiting for a response 17 hours later. This had my partner in tears, as the pencil pusher on the door, refused to let us in, despite it being completely obvious from my emails that we had indeed booked a ticket. More tears and frustration ensued, but thankfully the pencil pusher finished his shift, I explained my situation to another employee who went out of their way to help us out and we finally entered an hour later than we should have. Why the Pencil Push had to cause us so much distress is beyond me, when the other employee sorted it out so simply. Thankfully our trip from the UK was not wasted!

    A Visit to the Catacomb.

I really wanted to see this since I had read about it in books. My only advice is to avoid it if you are not physically fit. You have to climb down many levels to the tunnels and at the end, climb back up on a steep spiral staircase.

Good tour - not nearly as creepy as we thought it would be. Skip the line ticket is the only way to go as it sells out every day. They do a good job of managing the number of people allowed in at a time.

    Highlight of our day. Incredible.

What an incredible experience. I was thinking it was only going to be a 100 feet of bones. There were thousands if not millions of bones that spanned for over 1000 ft, stacked from floor to ceiling. It was the highlight of our day learning about the history of the catacombs and seeing everything.

We paid extra for skip the line and there was no skip the line. We asked where skip the line started snd we’re told there was no skip the line.

    Catacombs are worthwhile!

The catacombs was a wonderful history filled experience. However, we still had to wait in line. Every ticket was assigned in groups with 15 minute intervals. Make sure you buy tickets in advance. There were no same day tickets available the day we went.

Viator sent us tickets for the wrong month (I purchased tickets for 17 May and received 17 April). Because of this we were denied entry and needed to buy new tickets.

Audio machine didn't work and as we were half way through, we didn't have time to turn back and walk up the 100+ stairs to get another machine. Contacted the tour company afterwards for a refund and they said no. I would recommend booking through another company!

Good tour. The audio guides are a little hard to hear. Our kids (ages 6 and 10) enjoyed the tour. Would be nice to have audio guides geared toward the kids, however.

We were held up at the ticket desk for quite some time resolving this tickets. They said this happens often to Americans purchasing this skip the line ticket offering through Viator. They had to get a manager involved to help us locate and print the right thing. They called this a SCAM saying that you are paying well over the price to come in and “Skip the line” yourself. Save yourself hassle and cash and do not purchase these. Just go there and purchase direct.

Fascinating, interesting, and a bit morbid. Walk up and down stairs is a bit hard on the bones, but definitely worth it! Interesting history of Paris too!

Beware the steps back up above ground... It takes some work and you'll be out of breath. But totally worth it

I booked my trip well in advance and my daughter came down with Covid at the last minute and we were not allowed to board plane. I realize the website says no cancellations, but that's a straight-up rip-off considering we're in a worldwide pandemic. I made contact with both Viator and the tour guide a full 72 hours before my tour. France is virtually shut down ANYWAY. A little flexibility is in order. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. JUST LOST $151. They wouldn't even consider a credit, as I have rescheduled my trip *insert eyeroll here*.

    Warning don’t use this company

I paid £75 and had to pay again at the door because the company did not send tickets with barcodes which are required for entry. We had to pay again and they refused to fully look into the issue or refund the purchase. This was a birthday gift and it ruined the day. Don’t book with these cowboys!!!!

Hello, I am sorry to hear about your experience. Please note that the tickets (with the barcodes) were sent to you through the Viator communication system. Viator doesn't provide us with your personal email address, the only way we can send you the tickets is through this communication system. Please check with the Viator communication system and you will see that they were sent to you. We were also available 7 days a week from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM if you needed assistance retrieving theses tickets. Thank you, Alexis

This was an audio guided tour which was well worth it!. The narrow tunnels weren’t over crowded and there were staff at intervals throughout the tour. I am 5‘10“ and did have to duck my head in a couple sections because of low ceiling. The Information in the Audio Guide was well put together. When the tour is over and you come back above ground, you are about 1.5km away from where you started. It was a great tour with some really good history!
