Interesting parts of Montmarte.

We saw interesting parts of Montmarte, such as Van Gogh’s home and places where Amélie was filmed. However, the best part of Montmarte is the amazing view of Paris from the highest point. I would suggest that be added to the tour.

Heidi was a great Guidie!

Heidi was a great tour guide. We had fun, she provided great stories and made it up the hill at a decent pace. I would go with her again. The only comment I have on Viator tours overall is that they seem to end 30-45 minutes earlier than promoted. That said, I don’t feel like I’m not getting my money’s worth as the fours are jam packed with good info!

Was a great experience at Montmartre and seeing the whole bohemian culture unfold, albeit touristy. Special thanks to Sheldon for keeping the conversation on with information about the place as well as his personal anecdotes. Thank you!!

The guide left me behind at the blue love wall. I’m 188cm tall. Kinda hard to misplace! She’s a good person. Accidents happen. But I have requested a full refund.

Thank you very much for this feedback. I am looking into this to find out more information. It would be helpful if you could provide the date and time of your visit, and the guide's name. In the meantime I am able to offer you a free walking tour as a thank you, a courtesy, for your time and for the refund I will need more info : ) I hope we will hear from you and thanks again, Linda

Great tour and overview of the area! Some funny stories added in would be an added bonus. We loved the directions and recommendations on things (shopping, bars, food, gelato) to do after!

Interesting and informative

Joanna was a very good guide. She was amusing and recounted details of artists' lives on Montmartre. She explained how the Moulin Rouge is still popular but how it has changed over the decades. Joanna also talked about many of the other buildings and places and things of interest as we walked. For me ,as an older woman it was good to walk with others up the hills. Joanna pointed out the famous cafes near the top where the artists met and which they featured in their paintings. I then returned to them later. I recommend this tour but there were so many of we tourists milling about that I will need to return in the off season to get a better feel for the area. Thanks Joanna!
