The meeting point is NOT at the Eiffel Tower. It is located on the steps leading from Pont d'Iena to the river. The steps are by the carrousel on the end of the Pont d'Iena just in front of the Eiffel Tower (on the right when you are facing the tower from the bridge).

However, due to the popularity of the Eiffel Tower, we sometimes experience delays from security, or ticket desk lines while purchasing your entrance tickets. In these instances, the tour duration may exceed the allocated 2 hours. We recommend allowing extra time before your next activity to ensure you make the most of your Eiffel Tower experience.

Tour guide was great but Eiffel Tower staff was terrible. Opened 90 min late that day. I liked the tour but be warned you don’t have tickets. You wait in the line for people without tickets and then the tour guide buys them all. I guess that’s the only way to do the climb. But we waited 90 minutes. Probably not tour’s fault. Idk. Eiffel your staff to blame I guess

Not too sure what the tour guide did for the money on this - we would have been better just turning up and doing it for ourselves and would have cost us half as much as it did. Were hoping that booking through a tour operator would mean skipping the queue, but apparently not. We got some pretty basic commentary on the tower but paying a premium for that limited info didn’t seem really worth it and in the end we ditched the tour guide once we had our tickets.

This was a good trip. However, our tour guide at the end of our tour asked for my friends Instagram details. This made us feel very uncomfortable and I thought it was unprofessional. We were also told stories that were quite scary and graphic (E.g blood drinkers). We weren’t sure what relevance this had to the tower.

Sadly the summit closed as we checked in and there was no way to way to go up later or wait at level 2 for the top lift to re open. The guide was rather chatty which was a little overpowering and meant a lot of time with them

My friends and I were really excited to see the Eiffel Tower and see the amazing views from the tower itself. We were promised a tour when we arrived on the first level, we waited for our tour guide who said they would meet us on the first level. They never arrived. We waited for about 45 min with other people from the group and decided to just continue up the tower ourselves without the tour and history promised to us. Needless to say, it’s a good idea in theory as we saw other tour groups and leaders around, but not ours. I’d recommend saving some money and just buying the ticket at the Eiffel Tower and not through a tour website.

I planned this trip to happen on my 55th birthday, and I was so excited by the climb to the top. Our tour guides were amazing—they were knowledgeable, funny, smart, and friendly.
