Return Details

Returns to original departure point
Head to Toulouse Street in the French Quarter and board your beautiful riverboat. This paddlewheel ship — one of the last of its kind in New Orleans — will transport you back to the 19th century when ports bustled with produce-laden cargo ships, steamboats, and clandestine privateering.

Take a stroll along the deck as you begin the journey along the Mississippi River. Then have a seat in the cabin or on the outside deck, where you’ll get unobstructed views of the striking shoreline at dusk, and soak up some live jazz tunes from the Grammy-nominated Dukes of Dixieland, a true New Orleans-style band.

As for dinner, your tableside meal might include anything from chicken and sausage gumbo to cheesy penne pasta. Top it off with signature bread pudding accompanied by coffee and tea.

Your evening cruise ends back at the departure point in the French Quarter.

Good time.

The jazz dinner cruise was a very nice evening. The food was good, the service was excellent and the cruise was overall pleasant. The jazz band was more laid back and I had hoped it was a little more lively. My husband and I would do another steamboat adventure on our next visit to New Orleans.

Steamboat Natchez Evening Jazz Cruise w/Dinner .... My first time ever on any kind of Cruise. Enjoyed the Cruise and Entertainment. The dinner was okay. The staff were very nice and friendly. Did not get a chance to take a photo before boarding. Wish there was a place set up to take photos while cruising. Overall, had a great time. Would like to go again one day.

The boat ride was fine. The food was awful the chicken was dry, the potatoes were hard the pasta had barely no sauce it’s only baby portions and the bread could break your teeth. The drinks were good the server was nice I don’t recommend this tour at all. It’s a waste of money.

Beautiful evening on the river.

Enjoyed the trip and the commentary as we went down the River. Band was amazing and totally made the experience wonderful. Suggestions: Couldn’t get dinner tickets as you were sold out . Bar tender was overwhelmed and took a long time waiting for a drink. Parked on road in front of the boat. No signage or space number painted showing I needed to pay for parking. From out of state and when we got off the boat our car was booted. Very angry at whoever owns that parking. Took hours to get it off.
