When you arrive, head for the boarding area; bring your ticket and your ID to prove that you're 21 or older.

Once you get in your luxurious climate-controlled pod, sit back as you ascend into the sky. Hit the full bar for unlimited drinks during your 30-minute ride. Survey the desert landscape as it shimmers day and night with neon lights and reflective buildings. During your ride, an amusing audio tour covers the history of Las Vegas, perfectly timed to point out the area's landmarks as they appear during the rotation.

After you disembark, the adventure doesn't have to be over. The High Roller puts you in the center of Las Vegas' LINQ, a lively promenade featuring bars, shops, and restaurants. Start by browsing the Sky Shop for some souvenirs of your time in the sky. Hungry? Hit Flour & Barley for some brick oven pizza, and follow it up with a cupcake (or two) at Sprinkles.

The only thing you have to bring besides your ticket? Proof that you're 21 years old or older. Drink in hand, admire the neon-lit landscape as a recording of a witty narrator shares trivia about the city’s landmarks (only here will you find pyramids next to the Eiffel Tower). After the ride, browse in the Sky Shop for a reminder of your spin through Sin City’s celestial skies in the form of commemorative glassware or a tiny version of the High Roller itself. Last ride departs at 11:30pm.

Ticket line is a little slow at time, but once past there getting into a pod is quite a quick process. We had a happy half hour ride. The person on the bar was speedy and cheerful but also busy ( heat = thirst!). We had plenty of time to pick out landmarks and lights. There was no commentary, but to be fair the bar service had priority. An interesting air- conditioned half hour.

We were first in line and ended up being last in the pod… last for drinks… couldn’t see the other side. We were on the pod with people we did not know…. And we were not really allowed to rotate towards the premium view. My beer was warm. The bar tender really didn’t have a personality. He could’ve been fun, charismatic, and direct activity (like moving, etc)…. But he was like a robot. The bar tender needs to be more “jokingly assertive” in managing the “sharing” of the pod space. He did not talk.

It was a nice view and we had fun with each other. The lights at night make for great pictures. Drinks weren't that strong/great but a nice activity to get the night started. It's even more fun when you're with a group of other fun people they put you on with.
