Our dog sledding adventure was amazing. After a short ride to the location, we were able to meet the dogs in the yard. They were very happy to meet us since they knew this meant they were going for a run. Bob prepared the sleigh and then we were off. We took a ride out into the snowy woods. Bob explained about the dogs training and their daily routine. We was a great tour. Highly recommend!

This was by far the Best tour on our trip.... All the staff/ crew were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Geared us up and then the fun started to happen.. From meeting and playing with the dogs, to watching the dogs get ready and harnessed up to take a run. Sven was awesome and teaching us about the dogs working, their positions and so much more. We would do it again on another trip. This is a 10 Star experience!

Great Time Dog Sledding

Great time dog sledding! Dogs are extremely friendly and ready to run. We would have liked the mushers to explain the basic commands and halfway through the ride have the passengers switch seats so everyone gets an equal chance to be in the front. Sleds hold 4 people so the 2 people in the back seat don't have a good view for photos/videos of the dogs, but switching halfway through the ride would give everyone the same opportunity.
Paul, our tour driver was awesome...10 stars!!! He was very informative and friendly, and on the way back to the hotel we saw a moose and her calf on the side of the road. Paul turned around so we could all take pictures and view the mother moose and her calf!

This is an amazing experience. Communication before the tour went smoothly, got picked up on time and had a nice chat on the way. Everyone at the kennel was really nice, too.
The kennel tour is great, you can pet the dogs and puppies and get to know them.
The ride was awesome, learned lots of interesting facts about mushing and enjoyed the scenery.
I definitely reccomend this tour.

I've never enjoyed anything more in...

I've never enjoyed anything more in my whole life! My traveling companion woke up sick and could not accompany me, but the vendor let me do this anyway. I did pay for both people, because the cancellation was through no fault of the company. The musher / dog handler was delightful, and whizzing down the paths from my seat in the sled basket, all wrapped up, while he did all the work, was near paradise. This experience involves learning about the dogs, the process, and getting to do some 'hands-on' stuff. If I had wanted more 'hands-on,' I could've had more hands-on. For a first experience, I did all I wanted. Hearing those dogs all howl because they want to go and watching the team run ahead of you from the sled were just primo. If I have a chance, I'll do this again, learn to stand and mush myself, and go for much longer than an hour. The time went too quickly - as I said, this was a lifetime peak experience, and I highly recommend it. The hem of my coat has a tiny tear from a Husky puppy's exuberant hopping and nipping - I'll patch it with duct tape and wear it proudly.

My group of 4 did this dog mushing/sledding tour and had a blast. We were staying in North Pole and had to meet the driver at the Visitor Center in Fairbanks because they didn't come out as far as North Pole. No big deal. It gave us a chance to check out the Visitor Center.
Everyone from the driver, Kyle, to the sled drivers, Sven and Riley, were great. Really friendly and knowledgeable. It was great getting to play with the dogs while they got the sleds all set up. The ride itself was so much fun. We especially liked that they lasted a good while and weren't short in time like some of the other tours we looked into.
Hot chocolate, coffee, water and cookies were also provided. There was a warm place to hang out before and after the ride.
This was a highlight of our trip and I would definitely recommend this tour.
We perform checks on reviews
You can only submit a review or rating of an experience to Viator if you were the person who made the booking through Viator. Before publication, each review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information for each of the following criteria: who, what, how, and when. If the system detects something that contradicts our publication criteria, the review is not published. When the system detects a problem with a review, it may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site. In some cases, we will also send you an email asking you to validate your review before it is published. All you need to do is click on the link provided in the email. After publication, our team checks each review reported to it as not meeting our publication criteria. Tripadvisor reviews that appear on the Viator site are subject to the same checks and moderation processes as set out above. It is not necessary to have booked an experience through Viator (or Tripadvisor) to submit a review of an experience to the Tripadvisor site.

Sorting, ranking, and search results
Viator wants to make your searches as relevant as possible. That’s why we offer many ways to help you find the right experiences for you.
On some pages, you can select how to sort the results we display and also use filter options to see only those search results that meet your chosen preferences. You’ll see explanations of what those sort options mean when you select them.
You’ll see some experiences with a “Promoted” badge, which means that the operators of those experiences have agreed to pay Viator more to have their experience highlighted.
If you see an Experience Award Winner label, the award is based on average review ratings, share of bookings with a review, and number of bookings through Viator over a 12-month period.
The importance of any one factor over any other in a sort order varies, and the balance is constantly being reviewed and adjusted. We’re always updating our systems and testing new ways to refine and improve your results to make them as relevant as possible to meet your needs.
