Chichen Itza, Cenote and Valladolid All-Inclusive Tour

Trip was really good.. had good time. Bus, Food and the Guide.. Very bad experience with customer service, Half the they do Not understand English.

This was a great tour. It could have been better with more clear information before the trip. Here is what I wish I knew - take a credit card, you have to rent a life vest for the cenote, lunch is included, and we were at Cenote Saamal for 2 hours (not one) - which was perfect. I also wish I knew there was an option to purchase items at Chichen Itza - there were A LOT of vendors, even inside the park. When we went we had to wear a mask to enter. Besides what I didn't know, it was a great day trip and highly recommend it. The bus we had was very nice and Alan, our tour guide was super informative during and at every stop. The three stops on this tour were worth going to, and I think the order of this tour was good as we seemed to be ahead of the crowd. It was really nice that cold water was offered on the bus. I'd like to specifically thank Alan for so much insight into the Mayan culture and recommendations for lunch items. In addition to the three stops if was beautiful to see everything along the way.

This was a great tour. Our guides, Allan and Eduardo, were awesome and kept us on schedule and safe. Allan’s knowledge of Mayan culture and history is incredible and he shared it in a funny and informative way. Wish we’d had more time at Vollodlid. 10-15 more minutes would’ve been ideal in order to be able to soak up the atmosphere, get a snack, bathroom it up and shop.

This was a super fun, safe and well organized experience! This was a family trip and we were worried that the teens would be bored, tired or grumpy from the hot weather but the length of each experience was timed perfectly. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because our driver was almost an hour late and the pick up spot was not shaded and it was extremely hot. Overall, I would book this trip again.

Our experience was great! Cesar our guide was excellent and Arturo our driver was on time ready to take us to the next adventure. Everything from Chichen Itzá, cenote and Valladolid was great. We love all the history about the Maya civilization , the Cenote, was an incredible experience that we won’t forget and the buffet was delicious . Thank you for such an amazing day

Alan and Eduardo were fantastic guides. We loved the whole trip. Alan’s knowledge of the myth and history of the region was amazing! We learned so much and loved it.

The tour itself was amazing. Alan our guide was very knowledgeable and was a great resource to have. The only reason I did not give a full five star is they were a hour late to pick us up in the morning with no communication letting us know they would be and when calling sat Mexico took almost 50 minutes just to get a hold of someone so basically wasted about a hour when we could of had more time to do more stuff.

I’ll start with the positive. Norma, the tour guide at Chichén Itzá was fantastic. She is a true story teller and made the Mayan culture come to life. She was the highlight of the day. The cenote was beautiful and the water cooled off your body after intense heat and humidity at Chichén Itzá, however it was packed with floating people in life vests which took away from the splendor of the cenote. The lunch was delicious with lots of choices except very few options for Vegans. Maybe label the dishes better? Valladolid, the colonial town, was wonderful except we only stayed 30 minutes. Definitely needed a lot more time to experience the essence of this town. The biggest problem of this tour was the amount of time on the bus. It was a 13.5 hour day with 9 hours actually on the bus (4 of those hours picking up and dropping people off at hotels, 5 hours traveling to sites) This left only 4.5 hours at the 3 different sites. If we didn’t have to go to so many hotels to pick up and drop off we could have stayed longer in Valladolid. Fortunately the bus driver, Felipe was a great driver and the bus was air conditioned. They also provided cold water bottles on the bus. Bottom line, the management needs to figure out how to pick up and drop off guests more efficiently because it definitely changed the day for us. If you’re not into this much wasted time on the bus, try a different tour.

An early start and a long day but worth it for the amazing experience! Our guides Mike and Pastor were friendly, funny and informative, we really enjoyed spending the day with them. Special thanks to our driver Raul! Great to do a different selection of activities over the day, everything had its own unique awe. Make sure you get some of the organic ice cream in Valladolid it’s delicious.
