This was a great way to spend my last day in New Zealand. Good to get out of the city and enjoy some of the stunning country. Dipped my toes in the water and the waterfall - enjoyed a walk with beautiful views - the black sand beaches at Piha were truly unique. Jo was a terrific guide - full of energy and information. Very helpful. Choices and options to customize the trip. Thanks for a fun day.

Adventure filled day, for sure! Three waterfalls and a couple short hikes before final stop at Piha beach where you can grab food from the cafe, Murray's Tacos or other places, if they are open, before lounging on the beautiful beach or climb Lion Rock. Our guide, Jo, was fun and informative...so glad she did the driving! Great value as well!

Jo met us in Auckland and took us to Piha. On the way, we stopped and walked to a lovely waterfall and later took a good, rigorous walk on a a high trail overlooking the gorgeous black beaches of Karekare and Piha. We had over 2 and 1/2 hours to be in the Piha where we could explore Lion's Rock another waterfall or just hang at the beach. It was a great day and Jo was a great guide!

Mike is very friendly, patient, knowledgeable and easy going. He took us to the very best of Piha region and I had an amazing afternoon exploring the nature, beach and forest. I felt the time and money were well spent and have so many awesome photos from this trip. Highly recommend this tour with Trippy.

Don't miss this tour if you're in Auckland! This tour allows ample time to sit and appreciate the beautiful views at each of the multiple stops we took during the day, including gorgeous waterfalls, pristine black sand beaches, and a refreshing hike. Mike, the tour owner and guide, is really friendly and fun. He can enlighten you on everything from New Zealand flora to Maori history to how the All Blacks got their name, and he's great at taking photos. This tour is a magical experience that you should not miss!

This is well worth the money and your time. Mike was an awesome guide and is really flexible in allowing you to do whatever you want while at Piha - we had several stops and it's up to you how long of hike you want, where to go while at that spot, etc. This was hands down one of my favourite days while in Auckland and would do it all over again. Highly recommend!

An awesome tour! We have done a lot of these day tours during our time in both Australia and New Zealand, and this one was definitely one of our favorites. You spend more time out in beautiful New Zealand scenery than in the car and get to decide what you want to do with the day. Absolutely loved it!

This trip far exceeded my expectations. We saw multiple beautiful waterfalls, a stunning view of the coast, and ended the day with an amazing sunset in Piha. If you're looking to go to the west coast from Auckland and don't want to spend upwards of $150 to do it, this is your tour. It was a great mix of guided information and time to explore on your own. It was also nice to be in a small group rather than a huge tour bus, so we were able to be flexible as needed.
