Were sold an invalid package

We printed our tickets and went to the dock to get the cruise as instructed and were told that our voucher was invalid, this package had not been sold for 2 years and they would not honour our tickets. We had to purchase new tickets for the canal cruise. We were advised to ask Viator for a refund. We will try once our trip is over and we return home in more than 2 weeks. What a hassle!

Great disappointment. They charged us for a 24 hours hop on and off ride that did not happen. It ended at 5 pm which was the time our boat ride ended. We could have boarded within 24 hours but there was no buses the day after. The owner at the stand said he did not sell it to us. There nothing we could do. A scam by Viator. People were buying the tours right there on the spot. There was no need to book this scam in advance.

Canal tour was fun but quite crowded. I arrived late and wasn’t able to sit with any of my group. Much of the commentary is recorded audio through earbuds. The driver stops occasionally and gives some description but only in English. The reason I was unhappy with this tour is that I wasn’t able to complete the bus portion. I arrived on a Sunday and took probably the last canal tour of the day. I intended to do the bus portion the following morning, on Monday, within the 24 hour period. Only I found out that the buses run only Thursday to Sunday. I did not see this information anywhere—even on the individual bus company’s website. So I wasted that money (times 4). Very disappointed.

I absolutely love hop-in hop-off tours however the Amsterdam tour was lackluster. The sound didn’t work on several of the seats. It was also hard at times to find the locations being mentioned on the tour.

Bad day on the bus

Not real good memories. The bus we went on had no head phones. We had no guidance as to where we were or any idea of each stop. Our driver spoke loudly on the phone the entire time we were on board. Bus stops were not clearly marked. We walked around and around trying to get to the bus. The hotel had no info on your service.
